Advanced Work at Height –by Dr.SAFETY

Okay, team—let’s talk about working at height. Now, I know some of you do it every day, and for others, it’s occasional. Either way, it’s one of the riskiest activities in any workplace. One misstep, one loose harness, or one slip, and it can go from routine to life-changing in seconds. That’s why Dr.SAFETY’s Advanced Work at Height Program exists—not to lecture, but to equip you with the skills, awareness, and confidence to stay safe.

Why This Training Matters

Falls from height are, honestly, one of the leading causes of workplace injuries. And here’s the kicker—it’s often preventable. Most accidents aren’t caused by equipment failure; they’re caused by small lapses: forgetting to clip in, rushing through a task, or misjudging the environment. This program is about tackling those gaps.

We focus on real-life situations: scaffolds, ladders, platforms, roof work—you name it. By the end, you’ll not just know the rules; you’ll have practiced them, so safety becomes instinct.

What You’ll Learn

Hazard Identification
Learn to spot potential risks before you even step on a ladder or platform—loose boards, slippery surfaces, unstable scaffolds. The goal is to see the danger before it sees you.

• Proper Use of Fall Protection
Harnesses, lifelines, anchor points—sounds simple, but improper use is common. We’ll practice correct fitting, inspection, and anchoring techniques so it becomes second nature.
• Safe Climbing & Descending
There’s a method to every ladder, scaffold, and platform. You’ll learn body positioning, grip techniques, and safe movement habits.
• Rescue Procedures
Accidents can happen even when you’re careful. We’ll walk you through emergency rescue steps—how to assist a colleague safely and effectively.
• Behaviour & Mindset
We emphasize awareness, focus, and patience. Rushing or complacency is often the silent culprit. Small daily habits prevent big accidents.
• Practical Scenarios
Real drills, hands-on exercises, and mock rescues make the lessons stick. You’ll leave the session having done what you’re supposed to do, not just read about it.

This training is for whom ?

• Roofers, scaffolders, and construction workers
• Maintenance personnel working on elevated platforms
• Supervisors overseeing height work
• Safety officers ensuring compliance
• Any employee exposed to elevated work environments

Why Dr.SAFETY’s Approach Works

We’ve seen too many preventable falls in workplaces. That’s why our training is practical, not theoretical. Trainers guide participants through drills, live demonstrations, and discussion of near-misses from real workplaces. It’s interactive, hands-on, and designed so you remember it the next time you’re on a ladder or scaffold.
